I want to go to Mars! But, I don't have the time to get all the required credentials, degrees, training, and of course discipline. Plus I have a felony, bad eye sight, and a problem with authority. So, I make stuff (art) that transports both myself and others (viewers and critics) to Mars. In addition, I am empowered conceptually to reflect on the subject of Mars and engage in meaningful dialogue. Not only on the subject of Mars, going to Mars, or what Mars is all about. But, How it feels to go to Mars. Mars and the human condition. Earth to Mars, nature and the biomorphic universal relationships to life giving planets and the possibility of life on Mars. I am also compelled to ask poignant questions such as, is Mars a lesser planet because it has no ecosystem? Is the lack of human/life actually a, an, important stage in a planets evolution? Thus, is the function of ye who makes stuff.
