Problem: Drugs - Legalizing Marijuana 11/13/09
Marijuana Clinics
The Legalizing of Marijuana will only lead to the abuse of an other substance. The places that sell it legally look very little into the background of the client. The client can complain about false pains and get a free gram on sign up. There are people who really need it like terminal patients and other people that lack appetite.
Solution: If a client is going to simply make up an excuse to smoke marijuana they should at least break some bones or something to have evidence of the claimed pain, continuation is up to them. The marijuana providers need to look more into the client instead of just taking the $30 for a an 8th of an ounce or giving a free gram to sign up.

Problem: Drugs - Drug Trafficking 11/13/09
Too high of demands in the USA for illegal drugs which has caused our bordering countries such as mexico, to become a nest for the most dangerous drug traffickers.
Solution: higher demands of people protecting the border, the substances and people which come in and out of our country. making it more difficult to smuggle drugs into the U.S.. When we cross the border we have experienced first hand, the act of a smuggler smuggling drugs into the U.S. What used to be a normal trip to mexico is now a dangerous life threatening risk taken by many, and conquered by few.
Perspective: Our own cousin was a victim of the drug smugglers immoral acts.

Problem: Drugs - legalization of marijuana  11/13/09
the way we are fighting the drug war is a farce. we are only putting a band aid over a wound that needs much more. we spend enormous amounts of money arresting drug users, drug dealers, and the occasional drug smugglers, only small fry in the big picture.
Solution: we must solve the problems at it root. the people that make and distribute the drugs through out the world. I think we should put our efforts in trying to arrest the people that make and distribute the drugs through out the world. we should make deals with the countries that hold these criminals because it is not just an American issue but a world issue that needs to be dealt with.

Problem: Drugs 11/13/09
The government is struggling about making marijuana legal or leaving it illegal.
Solution: I think the Government should make it legal. think that's because in my opinion the crime rate will go down and everybody is responsible for themselves and if they want to hurt themselves then it should be the choice. The government and officials should be focusing on other more important issues than on that.

I believe that the law is faulty in limiting the number of people who sell and use drugs.
Solution: For high school students they should speak up annonomously if they have any information about who buys and sells drugs. They should take pride in keeping their communities safe and clean from drugs.
Perspective: 17, male, moderate-republican, filipino, personal experience: I have seen many peers that do drugs on campus and even in class sometimes.

Drugs are way to easy for anyone to access. Teens in high school, and even middle school are getting drugs from inside of school, and they're are getting exposed easier.
Solution: All drugs that are not legal, or aren't prescription should easily be confiscated without a doubt. People who sell drugs should be thrown in jail.
